There Are So Many Cheap NFL Tickets Available For The Season—Here’s How To Get Them

You don’t have to be a millionaire to afford NFL tickets. There are so many cheap NFL tickets available, especially if you’re willing to sit in the nosebleed seats.

Even if you don’t want to pay for tickets at all, you can still watch NFL games for free on local TV stations. But if you do want to check out a game live, here are some tips for finding the best deals on NFL tickets.

Sit in the nosebleeds. The least expensive NFL tickets are often in the highest deck of the stadium—and sometimes, even higher up than that. For example, for a recent 49ers-Seahawks game, I found two tickets together on StubHub for $9 each (plus fees), but they were in section 433. That’s up in the rafters of Candlestick Park—but it’s also under cover and close enough to see the action on the field (if not clearly).

In this case, I was able to get even closer by using my American Express card and paying $15 each (total: $45) in section 336, just behind one of the end zones. If that’s still too high up for you (or too far away), consider buying binoculars or bringing them with

The National Football League (NFL) season is officially in full swing, and it’s time to get your tickets for the game. We know that you’re already eager to see your team in action, but you may want to think twice before handing over your credit card number to any of those online ticket brokers. You see, the NFL offers many cheap tickets available throughout the season. Sure, they may not be as easy to find as they were a few years ago, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still find some great deals on NFL tickets. In fact, we’ve found a site that can help you find just that: cheap NFL tickets!

The first thing we love about this site is that it has a huge database of NFL teams and their schedules. This means you can quickly check out all the games for any given NFL team and see if there are any cheap tickets available for them. The site also offers a lot of other useful information such as hot seats at various stadiums, stadium parking information and even the latest news about various players on the roster. This site is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some great deals on football tickets!

The NFL season is underway and the games are as exciting as ever. With a full season of matchups ahead, there is plenty of time to head out to the stadium and cheer on your favorite team. The only problem? Well, let’s face it: NFL tickets are expensive.

Fortunately, you don’t need to spend big bucks to get in the game. There are plenty of ways to score cheap tickets for every matchup throughout the season. And if you know where to look and what to do, you can get in for way less than face value—so go ahead, treat yourself to a beer and some peanuts without feeling guilty about it!

Here are our tricks for finding cheap NFL tickets:

In these days of endless TV options, it’s entirely possible to watch almost an entire NFL season without getting off the couch. But for those who want to actually attend a game, there are several ways to get cheap NFL tickets.

The average cost of an NFL ticket is $100, according to Statista. That may not seem like a bargain, but it is pretty cheap entertainment when you consider that you’re getting roughly three hours worth of live entertainment for about the same cost as two movie tickets. Plus you get the chance to see your favorite team in person and cheer them on to victory.

It’s not too late to get tickets for football games this season. Even when a contest is just a few hours away, you can still score seats at a good price. Here’s how Ticketmaster and SeatGeek, two of the biggest ticket brokers, recommend getting your hands on those last-minute NFL tickets:

Download the app

Both companies have apps that allow you to scan and purchase tickets from your phone in real time. You can even use the Apple Wallet app to store your purchased tickets and quickly access them at the gate.

Pick up tickets at the venue

Tickets go on sale 90 minutes before kickoff, either online or at the box office. But if you’re going to pick them up in person, be prepared for lines and crowds. It’s best to know who you want to see ahead of time—it will make it easier to filter through all the available options.

Look for deals from team sponsors

Many teams partner with local businesses that offer special discounts on game tickets. For example, Delta offers $10 off select tickets for Atlanta Falcons games throughout the season. The New England Patriots website lists several offers as well—you can get one free ticket when you buy another through FanXchange, or 20

If you’re a football fan, you might feel like the days of cheap NFL tickets are long gone. But that’s not true! Sure, if you want to go to a really big game—like the Superbowl, or the Patriots-Cowboys game in Dallas—you’ll have to shell out some cash. But for most games and most teams, it’s still possible to get tickets for under $50 on the day of the game.

How is this possible? The ticket resale market is very efficient these days, with sites like TicketCity and StubHub selling tickets at any price point you can imagine. As a result, it’s extremely easy for sellers to unload their extra tickets at whatever price they want. And there are always sellers trying to get rid of extra tickets! Teams sell a lot more season tickets than they do actual seats in their stadiums, so there are always going to be people who can’t go to a game, and would rather make some money back than have their tickets go unused. Some people even buy season tickets just to resell them on sites like StubHub.

When fans lose interest in a team

The National Football League announced Monday that its pledge to donate $100 million to fight for racial equality and criminal justice reform will be paid over the next 10 years.

In an interview with ESPN, commissioner Roger Goodell said the league has not determined how it will distribute the funds, but it plans to do so in partnership with the Players Coalition, which is a group of NFL players that has been negotiating with the league over its plan.

Goodell said team owners unanimously approved the plan at their annual fall meeting in New York.

“We want to work with our players and use our platform to both raise awareness around issues of social injustice and also promote positive change,” Goodell told ESPN. “We are committed to using our voice to advocate for issues of equality and social justice.”
