Handball is a great sport. It is fun and easy to play. I have always enjoyed playing handball, and I hope that after this blog you will too!
Handball is played with two teams of seven players each, one ball and two goals. The object of the game is to throw the ball past the opposing team’s goalkeeper into their goal. The team with the most goals scored wins at the end of the match.
There are many rules in handball, but they are not very difficult to learn. In this blog I will explain some of the rules so that you can be on your way to becoming a handball player.
The Basics: In basic terms, handball is played by passing the ball between teammates across a court until there is an opportunity to shoot at goal. Players use hands instead of feet to pass and control the ball. Players may take three steps while controlling the ball before they are required to dribble or pass it to another player. Players may not touch the ball with their feet or any other part of their body except for their hands, arms and head.
The Court: A handball court measures 40 meters by 20 meters (131 x 66 feet). The 2-meter line is marked by a dotted red line running

There are many rules in handball, but the most important one is that you can only touch the ball with your hands. The aim of the game is to get the ball into the opposition’s goal. This is done by dribbling, passing and shooting. If you are fouled while shooting, then you get a penalty throw or free throw if it happens outside of the goal scoring area.

Handball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It is a team sport played on a court with a goal and seven players on each side. Six outfield players and one goalkeeper are permitted at any one time. Handball is mostly played indoors, but it can also be played outdoors on grass. The game has been around for over 100 years and it is currently played by nearly 20 million people worldwide.
Handball was first codified at the end of the 19th century in northern Europe and Germany. Its popularity then spread to other countries like Austria, Denmark, Romania, Iceland, and Switzerland; however it didn’t reach England until 1961. In 1995 the International Handball Federation (IHF) was formed in Copenhagen, Denmark as an umbrella organization for all international handball associations: World Championships are held every two years for both men’s handball and women’s handball teams with over 160 nations now playing internationally!
The most common type of handball is field handball which can be played anywhere from small fields (20m x 40m), large fields (60m x 90m), or even indoor courts (40m x 20m). The second most popular form is beach handball which takes place on sand instead of grass or concrete surfaces; there
Handball is a great sport played by many people throughout the world. It is also known as Olympic handball, European handball and Team Handball. Handball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each pass a ball to throw it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins.
The game was codified at the end of the 19th century in Denmark. The modern set of rules was published on 29 October 1917 by Max Heiser, Karl Schelenz, and Erich Konigh from Germany. After 1919 these rules were improved by Karl Schelenz. The first international games were played under these rules, between Germany and Belgium for men in 1925 and between Germany and Austria for women in 1930.
In 1926, the Congress of the International Amateur Athletics Federation nominated a committee to draw up international rules for field handball. The International Amateur Handball Federation was formed in 1928 and later the International Handball Federation was formed in 1946. Men’s field handball was played at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin. During the next several decades, indoor handball flourished and evolved in the Scandinavian countries (especially Denmark).
The sport re-emerged onto the

Modern handball is played on a court of 40 by 20 meters (131 by 66 ft), with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a 6-meter (20 ft) zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while “diving” into it. The sport is usually played indoors, but outdoor variants exist in the forms of field handball and beach handball. The game is fast and high-scoring: professional teams now typically score between 20 and 35 goals each, though lower scores were not uncommon until a few decades ago. Body contact is permitted by the defenders trying to stop the attackers from approaching the goal. The game was codified at the end of the 19th century in northern Europe: primarily Denmark, Germany, Norway and Sweden. The modern set of rules was published in 1917 in Germany, and had several revisions since. The first international games were played under these rules for men in
Handball has been a popular sport since the early 20th century. Every year, it attracts more and more people, both as players and fans.
The sport of handball is relatively simple. It consists of two teams of seven players each (six court players and one goalkeeper), trying to put the ball into their opponent’s goal by throwing or hitting it with their hands. If the ball touches any part of the body, except for the goalkeeper’s feet, this is considered a foul, and will result in a turnover or a penalty throw depending on where the foul took place. Each game lasts for 60 minutes (2×30 min), but if a match is tied at the end of regulation time there is always an extra time period that lasts for 10 minutes (2×5 min).
The game starts with a throw-off from the middle of the court. The thrower must be stationary when releasing the ball, but may move after that. A player must not touch the ball with his feet or legs (unless he is the goalkeeper) and can only hold it for 3 seconds before shooting or passing it to another teammate. The ball must never be touched with two hands at once and should always be handled by one hand except
Handball is a sport that people play using their hands. It’s like football except you can’t use your feet. The goal is to get the ball into the other team’s goal, which is basically a big net.
To start each game, a coin toss will decide which team gets to pick which side of the court they want to play on. Then, the final score will be decided by how many goals are scored. The team with the most goals wins!
Handball was invented at some point in the past. No one knows when or where it was invented but it’s a fun and popular sport all over the world. I love handball because it lets me use my hands and that’s always fun for me!
