In the following list, the numbers are all in millions of dollars, except per game attendance which is in number of people.

I didn’t bother to include any post-season games because they’re not part of the regular season. I also didn’t try to include any postseason series that were tied going into game seven. I don’t know how many teams made it past that point in either case, so I’m leaving it out.

It’s worth noting that this is only my second attempt at compiling a list like this (the first being last year), so if you spot anything wrong please let me know and I’ll fix it!

This is an article about the standings for the 2017 Major League Baseball season. If you’re looking for information on how to win the World Series, this isn’t the place — head over to our MLB news page.

This is the first time since 2012 that we’ve seen a team win more than 100 games in a season. That was a great year for baseball and I’m glad to see that trend continuing in 2017. Let’s take a look at some of the teams from last year’s playoff race:

The Arizona Diamondbacks finished with a 97-65 record, which gave them the National League West title and an automatic playoff spot. For now, let’s stick with what we know: The standings after one day of games.
