The NFL is basically a comedy channel now.

We’re not talking about the ridiculous storylines, like Peyton Manning having to face his old team twice a year. No, we’re talking about the joy that comes with football memes.

The Denver Broncos might be one of the funniest teams in the NFL right now. There’s Tim Tebow and all of his crazy superstitions (which led to this amazing meme). There’s also Von Miller and his big personality, which at times translates into funny things on Twitter and Instagram. And, of course, there’s Champ Bailey and his incredible dance moves. Those are just some of the players that make up one of the funniest teams in the league right now.

So, if you haven’t been following along with our weekly memes, here’s your chance to catch up on some of the funniest things you missed from your favorite team.

This weekend, the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos are facing off against each other in what will be an epic showdown in the AFC Championship Game. Arguably, this is one of the best rivalries in all of sports. The huge game is going to be decided by a few key players, but of course, it’s going to be Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning that will determine who wins.

The Denver Broncos are coming off of a 24-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, whereas the New England Patriots have a bye week which means they will have more time to prepare for this game. The Broncos are still considered underdogs as they head into this match-up against their divisional opponent who is currently on an 11-game winning streak. Both teams have a lot on the line as this game could determine if Manning will retire or not.

We have seen some awesome memes popping up around the web leading up to this game and we’ve dug up some from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Google that we think will get you pumped up! These memes incorporate some pretty funny references to players like Rob Gronkowski, Von Miller and more!

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has heard all the jokes about his age. He may not be able to throw the ball like he used to, but he can still make fun of himself.

Thanks to the Denver Broncos’ Twitter account, we now have a look at what it’s like when Manning is a spectator at practice instead of a player.

“I’ve been trying to get him to do this for about two years,” Broncos quarterback coach Greg Knapp told the team’s website. “He finally gave in. I think it was good for him — just kind of let his hair down and be one of the other guys.”

In case you’re wondering, that’s backup quarterback Brock Osweiler taking snaps with Manning standing on the sideline in street clothes as he tries to hold back his teammates from laughing too hard.

Manning is clearly adjusting to a new role in Denver after joining the team in 2012. Last season, he led Denver to an AFC Championship before losing to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII. The five-time MVP threw 55 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, while completing 450 of 659 passes (68.3 percent) for 5,477 yards last season.

The Broncos are the best team in their division, and they are headed to the playoffs. But most of the news coming out of Denver is about off-field drama: John Elway is being sued by his former brother-in-law, and Josh McDaniels has been fired as head coach.

But there is one bright spot: the team’s Twitter account has become a source of amusement. The Broncos have been posting memes, like this one (which they took from someone else after the Vikings beat Green Bay):

The Broncos also have a good sense of humor about themselves; they even made fun of their own quarterback—who threw four interceptions against Arizona on Sunday—with this picture:

The tweets have struck a chord with fans because they are lighthearted at a time when many people are frustrated with the team. It’s hard not to laugh at these pictures. But it would be easier if you knew what was going on.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is having a pretty good week. He was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September and he and his team are moving towards a perfect 4-0 start to the season.

With all that going on though, he still has time to make matters worse for opposing defenses by taking a cue from the last great NFL quarterback – Brett Favre.

Favre had a knack for turning his back and then tossing the ball over his head just as he was about to get sacked. It didn’t always work and it wasn’t always pretty but it kept defenses honest because they couldn’t assume that he would just throw the ball into the ground when pressure came.

And now Manning is starting to do it too.

In this video, Manning does his best Favre impression and thus makes everyone watching wonder if maybe he’s been spending too much time with Tom Brady.
