MLB on FOX’s Ken Rosenthal reported that the Dodgers and Red Sox are among the teams that have made offers to Manny Machado.

What’s at stake in Game 7? It could be anything from “just a game” to a potentially transformative moment for each franchise.

The Red Sox will look to win their fourth World Series title since 2004 on Sunday night in Los Angeles, while the Dodgers will try to win their first championship since 1988.

Will this game be remembered as a classic? It might just depend on what happens in the ninth inning.

A year after winning an MVP award, Altuve has struggled mightily throughout this postseason.

In Game 6 of the World Series, Clayton Kershaw struck out five over seven shutout innings, holding off a late charge from Boston to send it back to L.A. for Game 7.

MLB on Fox (short for Major League Baseball on Fox; sometimes abbreviated as MLB on FS1) is a presentation of Major League Baseball (MLB) games produced by Fox Sports, the sports division of the Fox Broadcasting Company (Fox), since June 1, 1996. The broadcaster has aired the World Series in 1996, 1998 and every edition since 2000, and the All-Star Game in 1997, 1999, and every year since 2001. It has also aired the National League Championship Series (NLCS) and American League Championship Series (ALCS) in alternate years from 1996 to 2000, both series from 2001 to 2006, and again in alternate years since 2007, with the NLCS in even years and the ALCS in odd years.

The NFL on CBS is the branding used for broadcasts of National Football League (NFL) games that are produced by CBS Sports, the sports division of the CBS television network in the United States. The network has aired NFL game telecasts since 1956 (with exception of a break from 1994 to 1997).

Since 2014, CBS has also broadcast Thursday Night Football games during the first half of the NFL season, through a production partnership with NFL Network. Despite this, CBS also carries an American Football Conference package and shares some of its rights with NBC as part of a mutual contract between both networks and the National Football League; this enables CBS to televise all AFC teams at least once per season.

Beginning on September 26, 2017, CBS will also air most Sunday afternoon AFC games in tandem with NBC as part of a five-year deal with the league that sees Fox take over Sunday afternoon NFC broadcast rights.

The topic is baseball. The topic is not the authors’ personal lives, nor is it an outlet for fans to discuss their latest date or job interview. It’s a blog about baseball, and it would be nice if they tried to stick to that.

It’s a common phenomenon: researchers find that people tend to overestimate their own abilities (in this case, in their ability to stick to the topic of the blog), especially when compared to others. If you’re one of these people, your team’s fans are probably even worse than you are.

This problem isn’t unique to blogs about sports. A blog about science or politics can easily become a forum for arguing about religion or personal philosophy; a blog about building wooden boats can become a forum for discussing interpersonal relationships. Even if there isn’t any “bad” behavior going on, there’s still the increased noise factor of off-topic posts.

So here are some suggestions for dealing with off-topic posts:

First of all, remember that what you consider off-topic may be different from what your readers consider off-topic. Many bloggers have found it useful to include a section on their front page that explains what the blog is about, and asks people not to post on any other topics. In

The NFL released its 2011 schedule on Tuesday, and for the first time since 2004 the Monday night season opener will not feature the defending Super Bowl champions.

The Packers will kick off the NFL’s regular season at Lambeau Field against the Saints at 7 p.m. CT on Sept. 8, the league announced Tuesday. It will mark the sixth straight season that Green Bay plays on Sunday night in Week 1, but this is the first time it won’t host a game on opening weekend since 2004.

Green Bay also plays in prime time in Week 2 on Sunday night at home against Carolina, a potential post-Labor Day snowstorm notwithstanding. The Packers’ remaining prime-time games are Oct. 9 at Atlanta and Thursday, Dec. 15 vs. Oakland (both on NFL Network). The other two possibilities for flex scheduling are Nov. 20 at Detroit and Dec. 26 vs. Chicago (both Sunday night games).

The Packers also play games against San Diego (Nov. 6) and Minnesota (Dec. 2) that could be flexed into Sunday night if they’re more attractive matchups later in the season than originally thought.

When the NFL schedule came out in April, the Monday night game was circled as a potential AFC championship preview. Both teams were split on their starting quarterbacks. So much for that.

The Patriots defense held Houston to just 216 yards of offense and two field goals. The Texans could get nothing going in the passing game with Matt Schaub throwing for just 159 yards and an interception.

Tom Brady passed for 296 yards and four touchdowns, including three to Rob Gronkowski. The Pats improved to 4-2 while the Texans dropped to 5-1.

The Patriots scored on five of their first six possessions while building a 27-6 lead late in the third quarter. The Texans had no answer for New England’s offense or Gronkowski, who now has scored a touchdown in seven straight games dating back to last season. This dominant performance from the Patriots came one week after they beat the Broncos in Denver, 31-21.

Houston got off to a good start with Shayne Graham kicking field goals on its first two possessions but that was all it could muster against a Patriots defense that is starting to live up to its billing as the best unit in football.

The most interesting thing about Monday Night Football is how little interesting stuff happens, even with a camera on it all the time. It’s amazing how often the players are just standing around.

This is one of the things television does best. In movies and novels you get to see what someone does, but not what they don’t do– unless the author wants to show you that too. But in real life, and especially on TV, people spend a lot of time doing nothing in particular.

It’s one of the reasons why people who watch a lot of TV think that life consists of nothing but dramatic events. People who spend their time watching TV have no direct experience with how much time they spend not doing anything interesting; they only know it from watching TV. Similarly if you do something really unusual, like start your own tech company, people will assume you spend all your time “at work,” whereas in fact most of what you do is nothing special.

The other thing TV does well is make boring meetings look exciting by cutting back and forth between the participants. You can make almost anything look dramatic by editing in closeups of people reacting:
