The Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers face off in a game between two teams that are struggling to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Hawks were one of the hottest teams in the NBA heading into the All-Star break and it looked like they were going to make a push for the playoffs. Instead, since then they have been one of the worst teams in the league.

They have lost their last three games by an average of 16 points, including a 112-86 loss against the Chicago Bulls this past Saturday.

“We’ve just got to find a way to compete,” Hawks guard Kyle Korver recently said. “We’ve got to figure out how to come back and be ready to play.”

Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer, who is a Gregg Popovich disciple, has seen his team fall apart down the stretch and is trying everything he can to fix it. He even resorted to switching his lineup up before last week’s loss against Boston.

“I think we’re at a point where we need something new,” Budenholzer said before the game. “It’s not that things aren’t going well or we need some kind of drastic change, but I’m trying some different lineups and some different combinations tonight.”
